post 4- relations

I created a relation ship between life expectancy and child per women and it turned out to be linear. I found that the shorter your life expectancy the more children you are to have. This could be because in countries with where people are not living as long the child mortality rate is also low, so these families perhaps feel that even though they have so many children, a number of them could die, so in the end the actually amount of grown adults from one women is not the same as infant to women and therefore to have a next generation they give birth to multiple children. Another possible reason for this is that create a child and then give birth is very stressful and damaging on a women's body, so with every child, a women's life shortens.

Interestingly enough if you go back 200 hundred years ago the age expectancy doesn't correlate with the number of children, but it is the same statistic as now for some poorer countries. women are dieing at around 40 if they are having 7 to 8 children. even though most countries have developed to have a higher life expectancy the trend seems to be that women can't live past 40 if they give birth to 7 children.

post 3- if i were an american citizen

If i were an american citizen, right now i would be voting for obama. he is smart intuitive and he will help bring america into the future. he is planning to create a $10 billon fund for homeowners. he hopes that this will help people either refinance or sell their homes, rather than the banks taking everything snd leaving them broke and homeless. Another thing Obama plans to create for the economy is a program that will provide training and technical assistance for small  business, and provide a 20% tax credit on up to $50,000 of investment in small owner-operated businesses. This initiative will put the full support of the nation's economic policies behind rural entrepreneurship. This appeals to me because as a young student knowing that i can get assistance in creating a new business will encourage me to become a business owner.

Obama is also thinking of the environment, as president, Barack Obama will establish an Energy union for the Americas. This union will increase research and development in clean coal technology, the next generation of sustainable biofuels and in wind, solar and nuclear energy. The union will also look for ways for nations to coordinate to transport green energy across national borders. by doing this he is preserving and possibly saving my future planet.

Another thing that the president plans to do is work with military commanders on the ground in Iraq and negotiate with the Iraqi government to end the war safely and responsibly within 16 months.
Obama covers many other things in his campaign but these three things really caught my eye and are what pulled me toward choosing him. he wants to make sure that if you are having a hard time that your home wont be taken from you right away, you can get help in starting your business, he is thinking of the earths future and he wants to end the iraq war and bring the troops home. that why, if i were an american citizen, i would vote for Obama

post 2- American Embassador

The death of the american ambassador in libya will potentially force america to get involved with the arab spring movement. This could mean that troops will be deployed into Libya and surrounding areas in order to stop the al-Qeada and Salfists raids and attacks. their may be more protesting in movement with the arab spring because citizens who are angry with the attack on America could get together and make a public statement with riots. also the whole reason that the american ambassador was attacked because of the "innocence of muslim" film which was offensive to muslims and this could push students into joining terrorist groups, causing more trouble.

POST 1-The most important issue today

the most important issue today is women's right's. when you look around canada you see men and women working the same jobs and for the most part earning the same wages. they both take maternity leave and they both can own homes. But just because canadian women are equal with men, it does not mean that the rest of the women in the world are.

middle eastern women are forced to cover their faces. they cannot go to school, they cannot even drive for themselves. they are kept in the dark and out of society because of the fact that they are simply women. they are told they will have a husband and birth children and that all there is for them. girls in africa are kept in poverty because they too are not allowed to have an education. They can't make enough money for themselves to bring them out of despair and into fortune. both women in africa and Middleast, as well as many more countries, are stoned to death for committing adultery and yet men stay unharmed when they commit the same acts.

if women were given equal rights they could do so many thing's. for one, since women are half the population, with an education possibly half the population could be brought out of poverty, and slowly eliminate it. with two, not one, member's of the household bringing in steady pay more children could be given a better education and more children could be receiving better medical care.with the movement women gaining equality, the world could potentially be brought out of poverty, and given a chance at global equality.
